Bike turns on but all electronics shut off.

I can turn my bike on and ride it. But lost all my electronics (cluster- headlight, break light, horn). I checked my fuses under the seat and the meter assembly.

Did you check the fuses near the headlight? That's where the fuses are that controls that stuff. It's on the clutch side.

I did, I'm thinking something isn't grounded out somewhere. I rode it yesterday for 2 hrs no problem. But today I removed a bit of oil to add some high milage seafoam stuff. (Oil level is correct amount and good to go).

Then I got on. Allowing it to get to operational temperature. Then momentarily the oil pressure light came on. Then bam before I could leave the parking space, it shut off all electronics.

So I cleaned all my connectors with contact cleaner and a pipe cleaner that I bought at the smoke shop.

As I was working the bitch from front to back, I found the culprit. The yellow 20 (signal) fuse was blown. And here I was going crazy.

My r6 has been down for a month. Cleaning the carb jets and waiting on float needles. Working on my rear break light. Also the throttle cables needed replacing. Just a lot of tuning up that I'm not even mentioning. Then a month goes by and I got it up and running like a full on hard on... Then this happened and dam. I was thinking of selling the bitch. But goes to show my math teacher was right. Check your work.

^ Yeah adding that would also make it smell really bad.

Fuses typically don't just blow without a reason. It is also curious that your throttle cables have frayed? The manual contains detailed instructions for routing and securing those wire harnesses and cables. If applicable, twists, crimps and caps, don't belong in an automotive environment. Solder the connections.
