Colorite touch-up pen for frame

I tried looking around but couldn't really find anyone that used the Colorite touchup pen for the frame/engine parts. Anyone know if it matches well?

for the frame I've used a Testors enamel paint marker before. it looked like it matched. I've also used it on the rims.

Could you provide a link to the exact pen? Did you use any primer or clear coat?

There's semi-gloss black enamel which should be good for standing up to engine temperatures. Du Pont Toyota 202 Black Onyx FastDry Acrylic Enamel SS F0220 IE A Pt (-) Lead Free is close, but with a bit more gloss.

whoops forgot about this thread. I just used a gloss black marker. there's no clear coat on your frame and rims. they sell these at michaels and hobby lobby.

But isn't the frame matte black? So did you use that for the frame and it blended in nicely?

The caps are colored to match the appearance of the dried paints. Compare the caps to your bike. Auto parts stores typically carry these touch up paints.

to be honest it was just a nick from a crash. so it wasn't a huge area. and yeah it wasn't an exact match I don't think. but on the rashed up part you can't tell. you're not painting the entire frame section with it. buy both and see which one looks the best. use the flat first and if not, cover with the gloss. if it doesn't look good it will probably come off easy with laquer thinner. the frame is probably a powder coat.
to be honest, i think you're overly concerned with it lol. it's a motorcycle. it's going to get road rash, dirt, bugs, rock chips, bird shit, you name it. at some point every motorcycle owner gives up on that shit because it's impossible to keep one showroom condition unless you don't ride it.
