R6 Track Bike on the Street!

Got a little sick and tired of swapping fairings for each track day, so decided to make the track fairings street legal. Now, all I have to do for track prep is swap the rear wheel, swap tail fairings and remove the underside LED lamps.

I would think those lights would hit the fender.

Re: R6 Track Bike on the Street!

I did the same for my bike but a little different I donít care about blinkers on the street ill use hand signals. If I could figure out how to post pictures Iíd post mine up. I just din a single led brake light bar in the rear got a oem connector and and drilled a hole to run the connector through on the under tail. I use industrial velcro to hold the light and plate in place. So for a track day in the rear i just pop the undertail off and and unplug the light and remove it. For the front I used a led spot lamp and mounted it off the upper fairing bolt. Works great and can be track ready in 3 mins or less.

Re: R6 Track Bike on the Street!

That looks great! Exactly what I want to do. Can you share some installation details? Which lights, how did you install, etc.

Also interested in which body work that is and how easily it installed.
