avg free has been going downhill recently, however their payed software is amazing...antimalwarebytes is great...once your already infected. and if you get infected i recommend a format.

daily backups do wonders, the only thing you can do really is preventative measure against virus's because in the end everyone gets them especially if someone actually wants to mess with you

AVG all the way, all the others are garbage.
