Re: Tire pressure loss over winter break?

Turns out.... 30 psi loss over 4 months of winter is NOT normal!
Just ordered a new set of tires.

I took my summer tires off the car last fall and left them alone in the garage over the winter. No pressure loss. Tires still read exactly where they were last fall. You might wanna check your tires/valves/rims

Re: Tire pressure loss over winter break?

From October to March is five months. Losing 5.4 PSI per month is not on the order of extreme and qualifies as a slow leak. (or even normal) Slow leaks are generally harmless. It's just an annoyance to have to more regularly check and "top-off" is all.

Regarding the car that is almost never driven, I'm not interested in dumping any time or any money into it... and neither is the owner.
