2004 r6 Intermittently Transmission Issue

I bought a 2004 r6 3 ish weeks ago.

I drove it home it home (over an hour) and for a few days with no problems.

The issue I have is when shifting from first to second it will hit a "wall" in between neutral and second.

The problem originally wouldn't allow me to get in second at all. If I was rolling the bike on the ground it would click up into second after 6-12 inches of movement.

The problem went away for a few days and I had no issues for a while.

The problem came back and now I can hit the "wall" but try 1-2 more times and it'll go into second. Seemly half the issue previously stated.

There has never been an issue in any other area. No other gears have given me an issue. Down shifting has felt normal. It seems a bit rough going into first which I've read is normal?

If I think of any more symptomatic details I'm missing I'll add them below.

Thank you for your time and advice in advanced.

How's the lever feel? If the lever is okay, I would definitely check to see if you have a broken clutch plate.
