Re: Lowering bike

The part you're looking for is called a "lowering link". Bear in mind that this does affect the geometry of the motorcycle, so understand the consequences before you adjust your bike's height.

2013 R6 - Crashed
2012 R6 - Sold
2018 R1M - Bad financial decision
2018 S1000R - Maybe I should have just bought a V4S with all the money I spent on my 2018s.

Re: Lowering bike

You also need to drop the front by an equal amount to maintain the rake. Can't just pop in lowering links and call it a day.

Re: Lowering bike

^ but don't drop it too much or the upper fairing may hit the front fender/tire

Go to soupies parts and order the adjustable dog bones. Make sure you lower the front as well.

Re: Lowering bike

Why do you want to lower it? Is the seat too high? I'm 5'7 and I know what you mean about the seat being too high but after riding it for awhile I got used to it and the height doesn't bother me anymore. I tippy toe on both feet.
