17+ Tune needed for Air filter and slip on?

Is a tune needed for a 17+ R6 with a filter (Sprint P080) and a slip on(Akra GP style)? I had planned to get a flash from Bauce racing after I installed an Akra header sometime in the winter.

Spoke with another R6 owner who had their ECU flashed for just a slip on and I am questioning if if its legit or if I will burn an exhaust valve or have some other issue.

just do it correctly and wait for everything to come in. you would need two tunes then.

I've already installed the slip on, I was waiting to install the Akra header to get the tune.

Per Bauce Racing, a reflash is only $25 plus shipping. why not just get the flash now if you're worried about it, then reflash when you get the headers on? peace of mind is priceless.

Sorry, I could have been more clear. Anthony quoted me $200 for the first flash, then $25 for future flashes on the same ecu for additional mods.
