Re: Putnam Park Lap Times

me feeling tipsy reading this

they sell lap timers that work off beacon's placed on the track. However, I dont like to use lap timers yet. I'd recommend them for advanced riders that wanna get that extra 1/10 second or so. Beginners and intermediate riders have a lot of work to do rather than worry about lap times.

Re: Putnam Park Lap Times

I don't think lap timers are only for the fast dudes at all. How do you know if ur new line through turn X is saving you time, etc...

Re: Putnam Park Lap Times

I've repeated a track maybe only twice. Mostly I've ridden new tracks. Of course lines were different when I moved up from beginner to intermediate, but I'm still focusing on lines, being smooth, trail braking, body positioning etc that I really dont care about lap times.
