03 r6 ss and maybe brake pads??

about to go to the track have a few questions.
1. im running bt016 tires its my second track day and last time i put into b group by the end of the day however i was running bt 003. should the 016 be fine they only have 400 or so miles on them?
2. whats a good web sight to buy steel break lines from for a decent price?
3. should i switch out the stock brake pads for something better? or wont make to big of a difference and if so which should i buy that will be a decent price??
4. anyone got any other tips?
Thanks so much

Re: 03 r6 ss and maybe brake pads??

since you are new to the track, parts arent a huge priority. seat time will give you the best results out of anything. once you get comfortable out there then you will see you need some things but focus on seat time and using that mod money for track days.

The SS lines and pads are a good place to start though. I am using Galfer lines and Vesrah RJS? pads. They are good stuff but I also have the Brembo RCS reservoir so the brakes are unreal.

I dont know about your tire question since I run Pirellis but really, seat time will get your biggest results right now. have fun out there!
