Best way to mount a lap timer

Im trying to find a good way to mount my lap timer while making it visible while im riding. I dont wanna put it over my guages for when I ride the street. I tried zip tying it to my tripple clamp but it didnt work out very well. Any ideas or suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Pictures would be awesome too.

Black velcro. You won't even notice it when you take the timer off.

Re: Best way to mount a lap timer

That's how mine is mounted. Velcro'd over my tach.. though a little bit lower, I can see the upper part of the rpm range if I need to. Works like a champ.

I just have a Zip tie around the cable on the fairing stay so if for some reason I decided to toss my bike into the gravel the timer wouldn't go flying
