For your size and weight I think it is terrible. I don't even think it is a good bike to start on if you are 250lbs. Its a lot of power. Personally I recommend getting a used ninja 250. Ride that for a year. So what you look like a tool, but it is only one year. Master that bike then move up. When you sell that bike you will not lose that much money as they are cheap and retain value. Another alternative is to buy a 600 bike that is more street suitable. Loon up older used 600 street bikes, not track bikes. This is my own opinion.

Yes, it's a bad beginner bike, IMO.

Depends on you. Are you a responsible rider? Some have made it out okay, some haven't.

worst beginner bike ever. i hope it's not too late to get yourself a non-supersport bike. look at something smaller and less powerful like the ninja 250/500 or the sv650. not just because you're small, tho, but because you don't know what you're doing yet...

you won't believe this, but that's what a LOT of new riders say when they try to justify getting a supersport as their first bike.

hopefully, you can just trust us and believe that this is NOT a good idea. learn on something smaller. it's not just the power of the engine, it's also the ergo's of the bike. you will likely hurt yourself. possibly bad. maybe deadly. your choice...

Get a 250 and learn to ride it to its limits. You have no idea how satisfying it is to be able to say you can ride a bike to its limits. Or the satisfaction of passing a liter bike in a turn cause you learned the proper way to ride

Go fast parts:
Pipercross race filter, Leo sbk slip on, 05 header mod, pcv, bauce racing ecu flash, agg smog block offs, quick turn throttle, 520 rk gxw chain -1-1 renthal sprockets, ebc hh pads
, Shorai battery.

Body:
Robby moto sbk rearsets, woodcraft clip ons & sliders, armor bodies sbk fairings, db screen, vortex v3 gas cap, keyless ignition mod, agg sbk res kit,
