differences between 06/07 forks and 08+ forks

I'm not sure which forks are in my racebike, is there an easy way to tell if the forks are off an 08+ R6R or a 06/07 R6R?

Re: differences between 06/07 forks and 08+ forks

The 08+ forks are 10mm longer than 06-7

Usually the 08 forks stick up 10mm above the top of the upper triple.

To be sure you don't just have 08 forks that are flush, best to take a measurement and post up for someone else to compare.

they are all the same. The 08+ setup ~10mm longer but that is done internally. If you go with cartridges... you can make them as long as you need.

i found out from thermosman this isn't the case. The 08+ are in fact 10mm longer, physically. not just internal adjustments.
