Track bodywork question...

So I have been looking at getting some track bodywork for my 2006 R6. A lot of people swear by Armour Bodies, but my only thing with them is that their supersport tail looks like it doesn't mount very sturdily. Does anyone with an 06-07 have this issue? Just seeing them on track it looks like they are always flapping around and even on the video on STG.com it looks like it's flopping around.

Re: Track bodywork question...

i have an 08+ with Armour bodies SBK tail so I can't comment on that model, but not sure why it would flop around if mounted properly. normally there are 2 mounting points under the seat cushion area and one at the end of the tail.

From what I can tell the supersport tail for the 06-07 doesn't have a mounting point at the end of the tail like the +08 does.

There's not a mounting point at the end of the tail, so I could see where it wouldn't seem sturdy. I sold my SS tail before I mounted it, so I can't speak on experience.

Edit: pic added.
