What these guys said, to helps from things coming loose and getting fluid all over the track, and causing yourself and others to wreck.
With NESBA its only required for A group but it doesn't hurt to do it for others. You are required by them to do the oil filter, the oil drain bolt, and the fill cap. There is a tool to help you safety wire, it basically spins the wire for you and i seen it go for around 35 bucks.
Read the Nesba manual on the website and it helps explain safety wiring and gives you idea's on how to make it easy.
Again not required for you, being in B, but never frowned upon. Just don't get bent over it if you don't have to time to do it before next weekend.
