radiator cooling fans

I am setting up a crashed r6 for track days only do I really need the cooling fans I dont want to put them on if they are not needed any info would help I will post some pics as the bike is being finished thanks keep the GAS ON

If your not racing anyway, why take 'em off? The weight savings is miniscule and when you come in on a really hot, humid day you'll need them. Even when racing a lot of guys leave 'em on now because they're so small & light. Back in the old days if you were trying to shave every ounce you might do it, but I'd say keep 'em on. Just my opinion.

If ur riding slowly for a few mins the bike will get very hot and the fan will start working, wich in my opinion is extremely helpfull so the water wont boil and engine getting to hot.
So dont "remove" it and keep it on.

thanks for the info I put the fans back on last nite ready to start on fairings and ram air tubes
