Ok guys i have a 2006 r6s with k&n air filter, ngk plugs, speed acceleration sprocket kit, and a competition werkes gp slip on pipe....i have a power commander 3 usb and im trying to find a map for this setup...does anyone have a map for this setup that will increase the power as well as provide the correct air and fuel ratios....i need help or direction thanks
I just installed a M4 full system, and my bike has a K&N air filter installed too. Does anyone here a have a similar set up? If so, what PC do you have installed and what map will optimize the way the engine runs?
How about a map for an 07 R6 with a full two brothers exhaust with no cat and a k&n air filter? I'm already using the one that power commander has online but I feel it might be running a bit too rich and when I start the bike after already riding it, the idle jumps around a little. It probably isnt the map but you never know
I'm still looking for a good map... I have an 07 r6 stock air filter, two brothers slip on with the cats and muffler removed. (Not Mjs, did it myslelf). Right now I have two brothers full system map.but doesn't seem to feel right. Idle bounces real bad until wrm
Can I get some input on a PCV map for my '05 with Danmoto GP slip on? I have a BMC ordered, but am thinking I'll never see it since it hasn't shipped in 2 weeks. I'm not sure which of the maps has an exhaust that is comparable to the Danmoto GP.
Hope to get some good advice here. I plan on installing a full leo vince sbk exhaust on my 09 r6. At the same time probably throw In smogg block offs and bmc air filter. Im going to install pcv and just use a downloaded map at first, then get it on a dyno after I flash my ecu. About the o2 optimizer what exactly does that do? Is it the same thing as bypassing the sensor in the ecu basically? And if im getting it dyno tuned I cant bypass the stock o2 sensor right? Dont they use it in the tune? Also if I go with the autotune Instead of dyno can I remove stock o2 sensor and screw In wide band sensor in same spot near the muffler? Would appreciate any advice I can get on this.
Or you could get full leo exhaust and have ant@bauce-racing put his fuel map in ecu for you...that's what I did :secret save the $$$ for other goodies or track days
Power commander website has a lot of maps to choose from. I have an akropovic header with mini gytr muffler, but I'm using the Yoshi map and bike runs good. Nothing will beat a custom dyno tune, but you can get close enough that it won't really matter.
Just fitted SS manifold with cat delete with toce slip on, BMC race filter removing air restriction, and PCV. Bike seems to be running ok, but lost all low down response, im assuming lack of backpressure, anyone care to share a PCV map similar to my setup, been ringing around a few people to map the bike, but no answers so far.
What kind if Y pipe did you use ,and did you remove the honeycomb in the header? I would get with chiefsmokedawg on the forum, He can help work it out .I also highly recommend you have him flash you ECM.
Good luck.
Try and load the MJS map from Dynojet that map is rich and will make up for the loss of power you have down low. Remember all the mods you did will make it scream up top so the sacrifice is you lose a little low-end. Also as Nuges stated you could have Chief, SBU, TAFB, myself or anyone else who has the capability to flash the ECU to flash it for you. Flashing it will remove a lot of the factory restrictions and you can actually load the PCV map on the ECU so you won't need it anymore. Just a thought, but you should try the MJS map I think you'll be happy with it.
I have a mjs mid pipe with a toce slip on. pc5 running with auto tune. Was curious what map anybody else was using for a similar set up with a slip on with no baffles
I have a 2003 Yamaha r6 with jardine rt1 slip on pipe and k & n filter. Also pcIII power commander and need a map for it. Plan to get a dyno tune up soon but just wondering if anyone out there has the same set up and a custom map available ?? Living in Australia and would really appreciate any help from a fellow r6 rider. Much appreciated
I just picked up my 2005 R6 last week and I currently have a LeoVince SBK high mount, K&N air filter and PCV looking for a map. The one provided by PCV was either too lean and rich, I couldn't really tell. It definitely didn't smell right. Any help would be appreciated, please and thank you!
I'm more than happy with PCV for my midpipe install, paid a bit more but more you can squeeze out of it as you grow as a rider and in technical/mechanical knowledge
I just bought a 2018 r6. Looking at the list of maps available from power commander for my bike, there’s something like 6 options?! I’m thinking of doing m4 midpipe with m4 street slayer slipon. I know nothing about this stuff but not sure what people are expected to do buying these newer model bikes with no maps currently available for them?
Is the auto tune addon something that can just be done once, create a map from it then just keep the pcv?
