Will the engine from a 2000 r6 fit in the frame of a 2004 or any other year r6?

The only thing it's going to bolt into is the first-gen frames. Anything 2003 or later is going to require a great deal of custom fabrication.

And 99-02 frames are kinda rare for a good price in my area
