yeah, I'm barely touching down on the balls of my feet on my r6, but a friend of mine who's ridden another r6 that's been lowered says the ride is a little rougher than my r6 with the untouched suspension.

I wanted to lower the suspension, but the mechanics say they could only lower it by a few milimeters, so it wouln't have made much of a difference anyway.

They recommended shaving the seat down, which I would have done, but I was too lazy to give the guy a call. My dealer recommended him. There's some guy in Orange County that'll do it for cheap. I have the phone number to the guy somewhere...

Found the number to the place that'll shave your seat down for you so you don't have to mess with your suspension. I never actually had it done, but the yamaha dealer that I bought my bike from recommends them, and says they do a real professional job, and you can't tell the difference (in looks).
