My apologies in advance if this topic is pre-flogged, but I had a quick question that a search didn't definitively answer.

I've changed the oil in the past on my 05, and if it was a 45 minute job, 35 of those minutes were on fairing removal. Looking at it the other day, I'm wondering if I could swap the filter without pulling the fairing. Looks possible, and the oil's getting changed soon.

Is it possible? Thanks in advance, one and all.

Oops, my error. Didn't see the YouTube link in response.
But that's for brakes, yea? This question is regarding engine oil change with fairing still attached.
I sincerely appreciate the response, thank you

Thanks for the replies, one and all. I think I'll be able to r/r oil filter without complete removal of fairing; we'll see. Oil change is coming up soon, I'll try to post my findings when I do.
Thanks again!

I just changed the oil on my 05 tonight, all you have to do is remove the left lower faring to access the filter and drain plug it was actually quite easy only took maybe 15minutes to change the oil and filter.
