Need help. I have a 2005 R6 48,000 miles and I have recently experienced fuel cutting out just above 8,000 rpm.

Can anyone tell me what the issue might be?

I posted my findings on the other post "Bad Gas?". It was accumulated debris in the gasoline. Probably years worth. I explained how I cleaned it out.
There is a mesh filter inside the tank, on the pump, that can be cleaned, but probably not removed/replaced.
A few other posts mention the coils going bad, or the air intake sensor, but I can't confirm they are a problem only in high rpm's.

If you find out the problem, please post!
