Is it possible to swap tail fairings from R6 2006 to my R6 04?

I've seen something like this here, but can't find it now

Ya its possible to do that i have a friend thats doin that right now to his bike the only hard thing is to find the parts.

Do me a favor, ask your friend what it is i need. i can have a shop here in la do it, but if i know what am going to need i can find the parts faster and prolly cost me less in the long run. Thanks!

I would love to see this as well i... my brother has on 06 and myself the 05 everytime he parks it beside mine i just cant get over the tail of my bike compared to the 06 its just such a sleek look...

I saw a thread on this site where a guy put a 2006 tail on a 2005, but i don't know what happened to it, he never updated again, and i can't even find the page anymore. So i know it can be done, id love to have something like this.

i know i've destroyed my search engines trying to find this... i might just suck it up and do it... my only wonder is all the parts that are going to be needed.. rear cowl.. tail lights and undertail.. but now do you need a new seat as they have changed slightly in design to the rear of the seat??
