05 Yamaha R6
Bunch o miles, but looks and runs like new.

07 "gold" forks with high & low speed compression dampening.
Harris Performance "gold" adjustable rear sets.

Corbin seat

I am the second owner.

(note-all these 07 parts are the same as the 05 parts, ie interchangable and have less than 300 miles on them)

07 R6 forks and fender (hi & low spd comp adj)...around 2 thousand miles total on "brand new" forks.

Left side--decals as from factory

Rt side--I removed the white check shaped decal on the mid fairing.
Gonna do the left also, just havn't got around to it yet (4 hrs).

Corbin seat is nice flat & slick, with an excellent tight roll down the sides of the tank. A great upgrade when it comes to climbing all over it imo.

Price : $6000 cash obo WITH all the extras.....no trades please, unless you have an 88 RX-7 AE.

Dark, love the Corbin. It does drop the seat height but I never actually measured by how much.The shape and slickness are what I like the best about it.

Daredevil, the fork swap is as simple as slideing out the 05's and slideing in the 07's.
I swapped for several reasons : 1-"new" forks, 2-better adjustability, 3- gold adds 5hp

why woudln't you just revalve the front forks, or does gold do that much for yoU>

looks awesome, just figuring what would do me better. buy new forks, or get a revalve job done.

5 HP BABY !!

No, really, I like the availibility of the seperate high speed & low speed compression damping adjustability that the 06-07's offer. And yes, I actually do like the gold anodizing that matches the rearsets. Red gold and black work well together for me. I also like the knife edge shape of the newer front fenders over the 03-05 fender. I still have all the factory parts in excellent condition should the buyer chose to put it back to stock and sell the rest.

I hope this answers your questions as to why I did what I did.
If it doesn't make sence to you, I have no problem with that. :YEA

But alas, I allready have a modded red 88 vert that I was secretly planning to give my son. But he has his heart set on an 10AE.
I have located 1 that fits our bill, but have to sell the R6 first.

its got the bbs vert wheels
its red with the black and red interior
body has a few minor dents the norm door dings
interior condition is good condition not great a couple of the plasticvent covers have broke
ac and heat do work amazing just had it serviced a month ago
as far as electrics go both windows work from driver side not pass. and the motors to the top have been discounected bc the switch to them is faulty
