if you want to do this, i have an 06 stock pipe sitting in my garage already cut so that it worked on my wife's 07 R6s (should be almost identical to yours if not the same). You can come down and we can try it out real quick and if you like it i'll sell you the setup for cheap as i don't need it anymore...

I'm basically in Federal Way East east off of 320th.

It is not hard. I just had to get a cutoff saw to take off the exup unit and then we were able to slide it on the stock exhaust pipe.
I will warn you it is loud as hell. It sounds decent, but we took it off after about 4 or 5 rides and put back on the shortened stock 07S can.

oh yeah. i dont know if this will affect us being able to put it on or not, but since i bought it used, the bike has a micron high mount on it.

Both are regarding the GYTR for the 06's installed on an older gen. I'm actually gonna do this too. Just gotta wait for some cash to come in.

the high mount shouldn't matter as long as its a slip on and mounts at the stock location underneath the bike near the brake side rearset.
