Is there any way to remove this limiter?

At one of the local tracks, you come out in 2nd gear and have to short shit into 3rd and for a while, I wondered why you would get to a certain throttle position and it would stop pulling even though I kept rolling on.

Im pretty sure the 07-08 R1 has it as well which makes 1st and 2nd gear more effective...

It still rev's but its like its hit a brick wall until you get to about 10K where it starts to pull again.

I.e stick your bike in 2nd gear at about 6K then roll on about 50-75% throttle. Then hit full throttle and tell me if your bike pulls harder or if it feels like its the same as before.

It sort of feels like the 07-08 R1 where the throttle is limited to stop you looping the bike and so the top end hit feels bigger.

I'm pretty sure (not 100%) what this is, is the fly-by-wire throttle at work. It's computer controlled by sensors so when the bike feels like it doesnt need to be "punched", it doesnt. does this same thing happen all the time no matter what the condition (turns, straitaways, just cruising, etc.)? Everyone else let me know their opinion on this as well.

The ecu wont give you more than 75% throttle till over 8k i believe.
All to do with the flyby wire system.

I think the kit ecu removes this.

The pc3 install manual suggests that the ecu wont allow full throttle till your over 9K

Sort of sucks

Im not sure if its in all gears and if it uses a gear position sensor...I assume it would as cruising on the highway then nailing it would be crap.
