I can get a 07 grey R6 for $7000 or a 08 black R6 for $8000. both has around 2K miles.


with the 07, i'll be saving $1000 and can put that towards mods. is the 08 upgrades worth the extra $1000?

$1000 additional for an '08? Yea that's a no brainer...get the 08.

def 08 with all the factory upgrades between the 2 the 08 is the cheaper way to go

the one thing i need for sure are tires. the rest are little stuff like levers/rearsets/exhaust.

i already have a scotts damper from my cbr.

no doubter '08 ftw. new frame/chassis, variable intake, reduced friction pts in the engine, sexier bodywork, etc. these "mods" are worth way more than $1000. read any article on the 2008's first ride impressions or simply the features on yamaha's website. u'll be sold.
