I just received my OEM Yamaha rear seat cowl for my 08 R6, and after looking at it and putting it on the bike, I HATE IT. I dont like the angles of the front, and I really dont like the huge black pad on it. I returned it, but want to find a seat cowl similar to 06-07's, which flow well with the bikes lines, and dont have that huge pad.

Does anyone have a pic of the Targa cowls for the 08 R6? Any other brands?

Just got off the phone with the people at motorcycletoystore.com and the two seat cowls they have for the 08 R6 don't exist, they apologized for advertising them. Targa (which would be my choice) are supposedly in development and should have one for sale soon.

That targa one is ugly compared to the 06-07 stock one. Really sucks they didn't come out with the same one for the 08 cause that one is so nice. And ya that one you are talking about with the pad on it is hideous! Good return. I was hoping the 06-07 one would fit on the 08 but from the way you guys are talking it doesn't sound like it does. Damn....
