will a 2008 rear shock fit in a 2006? both are non s model. its not a big deal but my 06 has the silver shock with the silver spring and i want the one from the 08 which has the silver body with a yellow spring, and i can get a good deal on one right now. does any one know if it will fit? i dont see why not

Yamaha says they both 08 and 06 come with a single shock, 4-way adjustable, 4.7 inches of travel, on paper it looks like they should swap back and forth, but can't be positive. Could always take yours off and compare it to the one you want to get.

yeh i was thinking that but i dont want to buy it and be stuck with it if it didnt fit
