I have a great condition OEM '08+ seat cowl up for sale in Yamaha Blue. It has very light fading on the black cushion part around the fit and finish area towards the mating section of the PP plastic part; barely noticeable, and by barely, I mean you may not even notice it. It's in excellent condition simply put. Paint has no flaws/scratches/defects.

Yamaha part number: ABA-13S25-10-00
Retail: $260.

Condition: 9.25/10
My price: $160 shipped

PM or text/call me at 267-438-0457. Serious future owners only.

Why do they have to put that little bit of cushion on it? Some cowls for other bikes are just plastic...

Oh come on do tell!:poke GLWS
I believe it was designed that way with the intent of saving your tail bone/ass in case you slide back hard. This way you would slam into cushion, not all plastic. Based on a design engineer's educated guess.

Thanks.

What you have in mind.

The only thing I plan on adding is:

CRG/ASV shorty levers
Ohlins steering damper
MJS header
Marchesini wheels

I doubt some of those items are good for trade, so...

I'm actually selling it due to wanting a black cowl to match the bike. I just got a paint quote to make it the OEM metallic black to match my bike. If it goes to the paint shop, it's staying. Most likely it's going to the paint shop Tuesday.
