so i went with a custom 48 tooth rear from sprocket specialists and a 15t steel front on the stock 525. bike feels great and is crazy fast.
one issue though.
the chain is super tight. i mean i didnt have to pry the axle in. it lined up perfect ( put the chain on front and rear sprockets and then tapped the axle in), but there is no room for adjustment. its pretty much as far forward as it can go. there is a TINY bit of play if you push on the chain, but definitely no slack.
i keep hearing that this will wear the sprockets faster if i keep it tight. true?
