I spotted a leak behind my water pump hosing, so I decided to take it off and replace the seal.
I was just curious, during reinstallation, what type of grease should I be using for everything? Just making sure I'm doing everything correctly.

If it’s water, the mechanical seal is leaking, and you’ll need to do a full rebuild. Read this how-to thread:
