hi guys, i am really concerned here. a few weeks ago i cleaned and synced carbs. before that i`ve been feeling a loss of power but now its more noticeable. i replaced all spark plugs for new ones because it was time to do some care. now i know the cylinder #1 is failing because i used the laser thermometer gun to check every cylinder and that one is way cooler than the other ones. while #2, #3 and #4 marked 400 - 440º F the #1 was barely marking 200 º F. i dont really know what else to do. can you name any possible causes to it?. i know it could be also a dead cylinder so i wanna make sure before to do a major repair. thanks in advance.

I’d check your coil for that cylinder. Swap with bad cylinder and see if the problem follows to the good cylinder.

here again. ok im still having #1 cyl. working cooler. like 100º F difference to the rest. 250º F on #1, and 350º F+ plus on #2, #3, #4. but also when i give it full throttle start bogging down.

Do a compression test.

here i have got the results. cylinder #1: 75 psi. cylinder #2: 75 psi. cylinder #3: 70 psi. cylinder #4: 70 psi. tell me what you think because im confused with the manual because readings are stated in bars. what i know is because not much difference between them its more likely a valve clearance issue right?

do i need to make the test again or use a leak down tester?.
