I have a 2000 R6 and I was wondering if anyone knows or has heard how many miles you can go after the low gas icon lights up? I haven't run out of gas but I usually am in town and can head strait to the gas station. But since I want to do some trips this summer I was wondering how careful I need to be. So again, anyone know how many miles after the light comes on?

Correct answer is 15miles... But it all depends on how you ride...

I've been about 30 after the light has come on, but i didn't want to push it any farther.

i try not to let my light come on at all, but from time to time that is not always possible. i reset my trip every time i fill up and refill when it hits 100 miles.

i have never ran it more than 10-15 miles before filling. i'm interested to hear how far its been pushed.

i would imagine that all years are about the same. but idk

I've gone between 20-25 with the light on

Well my 03 Ill get to a gas station within about 10 miles and it always fills up 3.5 gallons. So thats almost a gallon left. Which would be about 30-35 miles.
