I got a 2002 R6 last year, i love it so far even though haven't had much of a chance to ride it. But can anyone give me a good name of no-cut sliders for this bike? also what would be better the slidders or a kit, not really sure what comes in a kit but isn't there more protective stuff? Also i was looking into getting an aftermarket air filter but also heard that i should get a powr commander with that, and get it tuned? also what are some good windscreens i'd liek to get a smoked black one. Let me know what your thoughs are

there is no power commander for carb bike you have to get the dyno jet carb kit which is technically the same just different since its not FI...and there are no cut sliders you have to cut. puig db windscreen are nice...

i had the woodcrafts on my first gen and they were awesome. didn't stick out too far, had replaceable pucks made or delrin (hard plastic to absorb more of the ground and prevent catching the asphalt and flipping), and the pucks bolted on the side so there was more material to slide on and it wouldn't be hard to get the puck out if the hole is deformed. good stuff.

So I am still trying to decide on some sorta protection for my bike. I was thinking sliders but then I heard cages or race rails are stronger? Anyone have any info? From what I know sliders are more for race and cages are for stuning? Which would be a better buy, offers more protection etc?
