i just got this 2003 yamaha r6 a few months ago and its been non stop working on it but then the other day code 46(stator/rectifier)check engine light came on which i replaced both today and the code went away but now the bike doesnt idle very well on its own and not for a long time i gotta give it a lil gas to keep alive but if i give to much it kills it aswell

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be unusual that folks pickup bad new coils. Who's the manufacturer?

Best to verify before making further changes. You can gap-test the coil while wrapped in grounded foil in diagnostic mode.

I got it from partzilla.com but the manufacturer said Yamaha and alright I’ll give that a go before replacing them thank you 🙏🏽
