My son's 2005 R6 had been previously altered to shut off lights at night (we didn't do it). When we took the headlight and fairing off, we found 2 ballast that were connected to nothing. We ordered a new headlight assembly and put the H7 12V 55W bulbs in. The wiring harness has 2 blue connectors, and the headlight has 2 white connectors that fit the blue ones. The headlight will not come on. The bulbs are good. Are we missing some wiring?

There should be two relays under the windscreen. And really there’s no way for us to tell what the previous owner did to the wiring to hook up the HIDs....or whatever they did to modify the lights

I checked the relays. one clicks when we flip the switch, but the other one doesn't.

One operates the high beam, the other provides power to both circuits. The lights don’t come on until the ecu sees the engine rpm.
