Hello, I have searched around but still have difficulty distinguishing whether this is a water pump leak, a hose, or possibly both. I am leaning towards needing to replace both but would like some insight from any members to confirm what part or additional tools to recommend for this. I also hope these pictures will help any future user to compare and get an answer should they have the same problem. Thanks!

You could probably buy one of those cooling system pressure/ vacuum testers. That might help show you where the leak is coming from before you spend money on something that's not the problem. And you get a new tool that you can use on other stuff.

But the lower water pump hose clamp looks to be overtightened, maybe causing the hose to rip or tear.
