How much faster is the new R6 from the older 03-04??

I have a drag race and my opponennt is a 2007 R6 with slipon, filter, one tooth less front and 520 and lowering front and rear! Exactly the same mods I have too! Without thinking the drivers capability the difference in two bikes is big?

The 07+ are supposed to have a few more peak horsepower. They also have less torque than the earlier models. In a dragrace like this rider capability is a bigger factor than the few horses that the newer bikes have. Take a look @ the dragtimes posted by everyone on here and what they have. There are 11's, 10's and 9's (or mid/low 6's in the 1/8th). They're all on different generation bikes. So i would lump all the r6's in the same time range and then factor the rider.
