I believe it. Mine didn't come up and I took off around 9k today from a stop. Guess I need a R1 to get her up.
You guys just aren't doing it right. :secretI believe it. Mine didn't come up and I took off around 9k today from a stop. Guess I need a R1 to get her up.
Man I hope you never loop one of those. I would sure hate too.... Screw a bunch of that! I'll stick to holding them at 3k.Feathering the clutch too much.. I have an 08, which is identical to yours, and can launch 1-2-3 wheelie from a light and set it back down before 4th.. all between.. eh.. 6k and 12k
I would consider your positioning on the bike first, then your technique, then the bike and whatever may be going on with it
Hey Nick,looking good bro:YEA

i can pop and ride 1st gear(not super far but good enough for me) but i CAN NOT get 2nd gear at all all it does is lunge forward no pop or anything any help with that?
I've heard stand up but Ive tried that and it seems super sketchy to me and don't like it at all
Of course. You are going faster so BP is lower and you are in a taller gear so throttle input isn't as twitchy. Slow shit is much more involved.if you stand up and power it up and not try and yank it up its all good. it took me a while to get past that but once its up its awsome! i started in second and now 3rd is my favorite wheelie gear.. i can go a long ways in 3rd. i find it easier to find the balance point in 3rd rather than second..
none. im getting ready to part out the bike...Hey Nick,
What rear caliper setup did you end up with?
There's plenty of S' around here. Hell even my girlfriend has one... I can power up in 2nd and clutch it up in 3rd. No problems. If you can't get the bike to lift in first, your not giving full throttle. I'd end up looping if I didn't back off the throttle at the line.ok cool. just wondering, plus i dont see many r6s' out there
