Resurrecting this thread!
The 2012 R6 I bought has PSR links on it. My assumption is it was lowered (bought it from a short girl) and she said her now ex fiance did it. While I have not taken them off the bike yet because I'm waiting for a shock, the length is damn close to stock. It's hard to measure accurately in there. From what I can dig up the OEM link part number is the same for 09-up.
My questions:
Are lowering links only fractionally different in length to attain a 1-2" drop in ride height?
What is the OEM length eye to eye? The 6.5" listed in this thread is not what I am measuring on the used stock ones I bought.

Sweet! Thank you! I didn't cross back to your year but probably the same.
So I guess that a 0.25" difference in link length makes a huge difference in seat height. Wow.

Right on. These are the same measurement as yours are.
I guess I'll be finding out about the difference in ride height vs. link length this weekend. Need to rip out the shock anyway. Stay tuned :)
