I posted a few months ago about changing the tail on my bike, and I’ve decided to do it. The parts I’ve listed to start buying are the 2017 subframe, battery tray, fenders, seats (front and back) and the tail light. Will I need anything else?

No idea but update with pics here when you do it.

There may be an issue with the gas tank also. The location of the subframes are different (heights). Also the seat may mate up to the tank incorrect. I dont know for sure but may be a problem. If you look at bikeplast conversion kit it also includes a tank cover.

From what I've read there are some issues with the bracket that supports the tank and that the seat clips under. If you aren't replacing the tank you'll need to make a bracket or buy the bikeplast bracket.
Beware, buying the Bikeplast parts aren't an issue if you're buying a set, buying just pieces is a pain and not cheap.

I am a distributor for Bikeplast and DB Holders. You wont get a better deal anywhere else! But the 08-16 to 2017+ conversion kit is NOT CHEAP! Also not set up for the street. I was going to do this but ended up just buying a 2017. Just converted it over to race for the 2021 season.
