I am selling a motor that came out of my 2012 YZF-R6. I purchased a new motor for it after my auto tensioner failed at the track, and broke two valves. I've had it sitting for a little while I debated on rebuilding it, parting it out, or just selling it as a whole.

The motor had a little over 29k miles, oil changes faithfully at 3k miles, and strong compression when pulled from the bike. I bought this bike brand new, did the 600 mile service a few miles early, and have had no problems with the motor. At ~25,300 miles, she had a valve adjustment done, and she continued to run fine. I took the head off, and things aren't that bad in there. I just don't have the time right now to do what needs to be done, and I don't see the need for me personally to have an extra engine laying around right now. I planned on racing this season, but I'm not sure if I'll do it as I didn't achieve my budget that I planned for the season.

Nevertheless, this is ideal for someone who's going to be racing or just want to build a motor for the race season as this can be picked up pretty cheap.

Also, I have a Jegs engine stand with R6 engine mounts attached for sale.

Let me know if interested. Serious people only.

Engine: $500
Engine Stand w/mounts: $100/OBO
