Hello friends! I purchased an Attack perfomance rearset kit. Upon installing the shifter side the shift rod included in the kit didn't account for the oem quick shifter. I contacted the company that sold the rear sets and they suggested I buy a universal shift rod kit. When that universal kit arrived it didnt have a shift rod length that worked, it seems like the heim joint the shift rods threads into is too big. Has anyone ever had issues similar to this? What was your soultion? Thanks!

on modern bikes; I wouldn't change anything

if I had that bike; I would rather not turn to such an extreme degree around turns, or just get a grinder and grind some of your pegs off.

I agree don’t mess with something that works. I thought about changing mine to upgrade from the stock silver color but stopped because I have a dynojet quickshifter. The issues with rod matching on aftermarket rear sets can be a headache. I might just remove the components and get them powder coated.
