just replaced my whole front end of my R6 due to my recent crash and have used the same front wire harness...turned my bike on with the headlights on and notice one of the relays on the harness is starting to get hot...I tried to trace the hot relay wire down to the point where to connect too but found no problems of accidently touch wires or what so ever...I think its my rectifier or something I have no clue why one relay is getting hot???

ifyou have a multi meter check the voltages.
sounds like it has some resistance to it. I'm not very knowledgeable with electrics. I know enough to get by. so hopefully someone that is, will respond.

I do know the rectifier's job is to cut down the voltages going to your system. at the battery connect the positive and negative leads of the voltmeter to the battery terminals and start the engine. it should read 14v @5k rpm.
if it's more it might be a bad rectifier causing too much current to enter the system.
