Bike was running fine yesterday. Filled up the tank and rode it for about an hour or so. Came home, let it sit for about and hour. When I came back outside and tried to start it back up, it wouldn't. The engine was turning over, but it wouldn't catch, and after like 2 or 3 tries, I could smell gas. Please help!

Update. I drained all of the gas out and put new in. It turned over and idled normal for about 5 minutes. I turned it off, put it all back together and when I turned it back on the only way it would stay running was at full throttle and it was very sluggish. Please help!

did you clean the carbs?, it looks like running out of fuel. check filters and throttle cable adjusting.

I just completely cleaned the carbs, and it still won't start. I guess my next step is is plug and coils?

Yea its fine. Be sure not to mix cables when plug them back. It happened to me before.

I did. Everything is put together right. Bike still won't start.

When key-on but before hitting start does the fuel pump click a bit and then slow to a stop or keep running? Meaning, if float valves are not closing properly then the engine is being flooded.

It kicks on for a sec and then stops.

I just cleaned the carbs completely. Nothing looked damaged or out of normal no gunk on the needles or jets.
