I had the Acumen DG8 Gear Indicator for a long time ever since I got the bike in 2005.
Finally decided to do the chain kit and went with +1/0 520 Kit.
The obvious is the speedo error so got the SpeedoDRD to fix the issue.
At the same time, if I am not mistaken, the 3 prong speedo wire was already hooked up with the GD8.
Then I went on putting the SpeedoDRD on the same wires in a parallel type of connection.
SpeedoDRD works but I have been getting error reading on the DG8.
I set up to 6 gears, and then go through the whole cycle of learning each gears on a bike stand.
I go out for a ride, it's not reading how it is supposed to.
Could this be the problem that the gears are now too close to each other or it has something to do with the connection?
I know I haven't been actve for like 5 years but finally started to be able to enjoy the bike again so any comments will be appreciated!
