look underneath the throttle handlebar. two cables go from there down to the engine. loosen the locknut on the cable closer to the front of the bike. turn the adjusting nut in the direction that decreases slack (clockwise if viewed from right side) until you are satisfied. then tighten the locknut when you are happy. start the bike and make sure that the idle speed doesn't change when you move the handlebars from left to right.
