Most of the gains with those wave rotors are gained in weight, and in heat resistance..... (to prevent brake fade) ..so to the average schmo, you don't need them on your 6 unless you wanna be the trickest mofo on the block... It's quite funny, because the ZX-10 had brake fade problems under the extreme heat (weather + track riding/braking) in Sport Rider's bike of the year shootout between the ninja 10 and the Gixxer 600 and 750s.... (which didn't have wave rotors)

can you buy the notchy-cut looking brake rotors like the ones that come on the xz-10 that would fit the r-6?
