Hey guys, today I installed a set of carbon fiber Lockhart Phillips bar ends . While driving today I seemed to notice somemore vibration in the handle bars than before.. Has anyone had this before? If so what did you do( go back to stock or a different brand)

Thanks

Yeah, my intuitives also vibrate more. It's something that i'm almost used to completely and doesn't really bother me anymore. Either that, or my gloves stop more vibration than i think.

They make aftermarket bar ends that weigh alot to help dampen things. I've also heard you can get big Lead fishing weights that just fit into the clip-ons and can help dampen them also.

also, a member on here, earache, makes custom bar ends for people. PM him for details. he does it on the side so it might take a bit to get them but from the reviews I have read on the barends he makes, they are well worth the money spent.

Yeah, the LP barends are pretty crappy in terms of weight and tuning down the vibration.

I got some of Earache's barends. Penfold recommended him to me, and now I'm recommending Earache.

His barends are good to go. They got some good weight to them, so it takes out a lot of the vibration. Better than the stock barends. Plus they're a little longer, so If you go down, it'll protect your clutch and brake levers from getting snapped off. I ended up getting his stainless steel ones that were colored black. The barends just screw into the handgrip without any problems.

Earache isn't on this website too often, so if you want them, just email him directly. His website is www.ericblattert.com

I just emailed him so we'll see what he has to say..Does anyone know if he does frame sliders?
Yep, he sure does. Frame and clutch protectors. I have LP frame sliders now, but if I had to do it over again, I'd go either sato, shogun or earache sliders.
