Im looking at purchasing a AGV lid but I dont have a local store around here that I can try them on and see if I like them. Are they comfortable like a Shoei or Arai? And are the sizes pretty much the same, for instance if I wear a medium shoei will a AGV medium work also?

There extremely comfortable man, its hard to describe the comfort but its like rubbing velvet or suede.

As for size, they somewhat differ for each step up..... for the XR2 helmets they run exactly the same as Arai or Shoei but for Ti-Tech I find you need to go a size larger for the simple fact there are race fit sizes.

AGV do run small. I can wear a medium in Arari. I couldn't even get the AGV on in the same size.

I heard the same, AGVs run small. I wear a small in everything and just ordered this in small:
